Dr. Millie Dawson-Hardy brings a wealth of expertise in the realm of creative therapies to her counseling practice, specializing in working with children and adults. Hello, I am Catherine Howell, a dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a diverse background of work experiences, including humanitarian work in The Democratic Republic of Congo and serving as a Social Worker at the Tuscaloosa County Office of the Public Defender. With nearly a decade of experience, my passion lies in providing compassionate counseling to individuals facing various challenges in their lives.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong expertise in working with late adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating critical life transitions. Hi, I’m Dr. Kelsey Wilson. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Pastoral Counselor who is always learning and enjoys being a collaborator with human beings to help you find an alternative path or choose the best route to get your life back on track that aligns with your values to help reach your goals.
I welcome your spiritual and/or religious traditions in counseling. I have earned a Graduate Certification in Pastoral Counseling to ensure individuals seeking and receiving counseling services experience evidence-based religious and spiritual practices and culturally sensitive approaches that are scripturally correct that support your values and faith tradition to help with matters of faith and life to brighten your personal worldview.
I have nearly a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I have experience working with grief and loss, faith transitions, existential dilemmas, and spiritual and religious issues in counseling. I enjoy working with these issues because I have witnessed growth, can resonate with similar issues to facilitate your healing, and engulfed my entire career studying faith-based approaches in this path to integrate theology, religion, psychology, and spirituality in counseling to work with human beings. Meet Jessica Wilson, MA, ALC
Jessica Wilson is an Associate Licensed Counselor who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds. She received a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Alabama.
Jessica has been a first responder since 2010 and thus has years of experience assisting crime victims. She has received training on trauma-informed care, to include EMDR and TF-CBT, and has developed a passion for working with trauma survivors. Jessica is also trained to conduct forensic interviews with children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults.
Other areas of practice and interest include working with individuals experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, stress, ADHD, difficulty setting boundaries, and depression. Jessica also has experience working with couples and is interested in working with first responders and their families. As your counselor, Jessica looks forward to walking alongside you throughout your journey toward meeting your mental health goals.

Meet Jessica! She is JRACC’s Administrative Assistant and is the friendly voice that greets you when you call the office! Jessica has nearly a decade of experience as an administrative assistant, working with CEO’s by coordinating meetings and scheduling events. Additionally, Jessica provides administrative support ensuring efficient operation of the office and supporting the JRACC staff through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Jessica is very enthusiastic and personable and is ready to help you when you call!
